To the women in my life for instilling a passion for fashion.I grew up in Pakistan seeing my mom and aunties carve out time in their day to dress up. The way they carried themselves in a new shade of lipstick or a newly sewn outfit always stuck with me. When I started to participate in the multi layer expression of fashion I learned that I was confident to take on the world. Fashion allowed me to express myself in many versions of me. I could be bold, delicate, free, or playful.My designs work with pure natural materials that are each hand dyed to match the color I want to express. I learn about the people I am creating pieces for and weave their story into the embroidery. The process creates unique pieces for ordinary people that didn’t know their stories are extraordinary. I see the same confidence in those wearing my designs as I saw in the women in my life as a kid.
